American Rocking Chair Richard made this chair over a two year period. The wood is Walnut trimmed with Ebony and Poplar. It is finished in a special oil mixture applied with 800 grit wet sand paper. 4/4/2008 Click on image to see closeup. |

Dave made this Hall Table called Buckeye and Buckfeet. It is made from Zircote, Buckeye Burl, Ebony, Santos Curly Mahogany, Fiddle Back Maple, Curly Maple, Deer Antler, Paua Shell, Oak and Hickory. It is finished in Lacquer. There is a hidden tray and the feet are made to look like deer hoofs.
This table won Best in Show at the Ventura County Fair.

Andrew's Formal Coffee Table is made from Cherry and Walnut. The top is book-matched Walnut Burl. The sides are laminated Cherry. The finish is wipe-on polyurethane.

Dave made this entry table using the techniques he developed for making the above boxes. This table is made from Ipe, purple heart, yellow heart, jara burl, Coralwood, Madrone burl, and Verawood. Finish is shellac sealer with rubbed out lacquer.

Occasional Table made from Walnut hardwood and Birch plywood over a Poplar frame. There is a flush-mounted door and drawer on each end. Finished with Special Walnut stain and semi-gloss Varathane.
