7:30 a.m. at Redwood Intermediate School, board the chartered bus for
Popular Woodworking Show in Ontario, CA. The bus will return in the early
evening. Make reservations and pay your fee.
Woodworkers'
Breakfast
There is an independent local group of woodworkers who regularly meet
at the Ihop Restaurant, Borchard Road near the freeway, in Newbury Park.
They get together to talk woodworking while having breakfast a 9:00 a.m. on the
third Wednesday of each month.

Making with Steve Casey presenting
He will be discussing "How To" from start to finish with emphasis
on 32 millimeter method.
June 7 -- Shop Visit at Howard Ford's house. You will see the shop that garage sales furnished. The low budget tools and equipment all crowded into one garage.
July 3 -- Tips, Jigs and Fixtures
July 5 -- Shop Visit at Keith William's house.
July 25-26 -- Michael Dresner will teach and demonstrate Wood Finishing
August 7 -- Guest Speaker, Paul Henry -He will discuss how the study of the history of furniture can influence the way we design for contemporary needs. He will show examples, including those from my own work, of pieces that honor the past and reinterpret those ideas afresh. He will help us take a look at historical forms as a springboard for discussing contemporary design, and to examine the differences between the 18th century's vision of a successful piece and today's.
