Dave's Segmented Bowl started as a beautiful Olive blank to which Dave added the Walnut segments. The finish is lacquer. The segmenting resurrected pieces which had 'exploded' on the lathe.

Hall Table with a very unique design. It is made from Pine, Walnut, Maple, and Eucalyptus (the saw is extra!). It is finished in Enamel and Lacquer. Dave says it was both fun to make and to look at.

Dave turned this Bowl from an unknown species of wood which started out stark white. After sand blasting, it brought out the beautiful grain. The feet are made from Purple Heart. The finish is Lacquer.

Dave made this Patio set of Chairs from Ipe and Spanish Pine. The finish is Siding finish for the legs and none on the Ipe.

Dave brought back this special large Flask to enter the Arlen Wood Challenge. It is finished in Lacquer. The wood growth is unique in that it overgrew itself.

Dave made these 6 Flasks from Walnut and Ebony. The large piece is a piece of Arland wood. They are all finished with CA and Lacquer.

Dave made these carvings. The first is a Spider Web Flask. The second is a Bark Edge Flask. They are made from Olive and California Walnut with brass brazing rod. The finish is CA glue and Lacquer.

Dave first turned this Folded Vessel from local Camphor wood. Then he cut it and bent it using steam and water. Finally he finished it is Lacquer.
