Bill Battocchio


The first is a Bowl made from wet Plum. The finish is a home-made mixture. The second is a Lidded Bowl made from Olive and finished in Lacquer.

This Bowl is made from a square piece of Redheart. Stephen had a bad time with splitting as the blank had been cased in wax. There is no finish as the wood was nice as is. There is some CA to fill the cracks.

One Project... this is two Olive pencil holders with letter openers. The finish is Sanding Sealer and Finishing Wax.
Tapping Toes... is an adaption of Master Toymaker Gene West's original idea. The toes tap in sequence when the crank handle is turned. The finish is also Sanding Sealer and Finishing Wax.
Walking Stick... is a Birch branch relief carving of Wood Spirits and polar bear head. Same finish as that above.
