
Pencil Holder for the challenge. It is turned from Olive and finished in wax. This Olive has particularly nice figure.

Dan made this Desk Clock from Mahogany using his special scroll saw. It is finished in boiled linseed oil mixed with mineral spirits and with Deft spray lacquer.

Arlen did this Toy Airplane as a smaller scale version of the toy airplanes he usually makes. The wood is Mahogany and the finish is lacquer.

This Top is made from Alder and is finished in Lacquer. He made a special fixture to make the spinner of the top. He changed the shape from earlier versions so it would not be used as a slingshot!

Dave made these Sewing Awls for his wife.. naturally she now wants more! The are made from Hard Maple. The finish is wipe-on Poly or Behleen's Woodworking Finish. These are used by Quilters to sew small pieced fabric together on a sewing machine.

Dave's Pepper Mill is made from Padauk and finished with Wipe-on Polyurethane.

Famous Gene made this intricate Carousel from Baltic Birch and dowels rods. The finish is water based Acrylic paint. It is crank driven and includes a music box. It has 16 animals, each separately carved and painted.
