Dave Blackburn


Dave displayed two new boxes. The first is a Pin Hinged Box made from Bubinga, Walnut & Walnut Burl, Ebony, and Rosewood. It is finished with Watco Oil. The second is a Bandsaw Box made from Acacia, Figured Walnut, Amonite, Curly Maple.

John made this Tool Handle from Walnut for the turning SIG. It is finished with Walnut Oil and Wax.

Bill Gourlay


Bill made this pair (Bandsaw Boxes #10 and #11) from laminated Poplar with Walnut drawer pulls. These are special designs by Bill. The finish is Formby's Tung Oil Finish & Minwax Finishing Wax.

This sculptured bandsaw box is titled "L'Homme" and is box #14 from Bill. The wood is Purpleheart. It is a modification to Lois Keener Ventura's "Wind Tree", but shaped into a human profile. The finish is the same as above.

Dick Wakefield


Dick created this Soldering Jig for hobby work from scrap Walnut and two clothes pins.

Bill Waters


Bill had a good time making this special Serving Tray. The woods are Cherry, Walnut and Mahogany. The finish is Polyurethane. The sides and ends are at a 20° angle to the tray. The tray is made from strips glued together.
