David Butler

David made this Bass Guitar body from Maple and the neck from Teak. The finish is nitrocelulous lacquer. The neck is actually four pieces glued together from deck chair scrap.

Stephen Case-Pall


Stephen made a collection this month. First is a Platter turned from Mahogany, finished in wax and polished.
Second is a Bowl with a natural edge made from Cork Oak. Again, it is finished in wax, and it is polished.
Third is a Hollow Form made from Ebony, Mahogany and Brass. The finish is wax. The brass is a turning.
Fourth is a Funeral Urn, a receptical for ashes. The body and ring are Avocado; the lid is Olive; and the finial is Cherry. It is finished in wax. Fifth is another Bowl made from Olive wood... also finished in polished wax.
Sixth is yet another Bowl made from Spruce Burl.
