Chuck Diedrich

These Cribbage Boards were made by Chuck Diedrich. The State boards for Wisconsin, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho and New York are made from various woods with brass inserts.

This Guitar shaped Cribbage Board is made from hard maple with concentric inlays of Purple Heart and Cocobolo. The neck is laminated Purple Heart and Oak edge banding to simulate the guitaer strings. The frets are inlaid brass. Cribbage scoring pegs are stored as simulated string tensioners in the handle. They are removable, modified brass shelf holders, inserted into 1/8" brass sleeves.
It is finished in Tung Oil and wax.

Bill made these carvings mainly from Stude Walnut. The Grizzly Bear stands on a piece of driftwood picked up at the Oxnard beach.
All are finished in a special Walnut stain, Tung Oil and wax.

Gene made the rolling ant articulated rolling toy from Alder, for the body, and Birch, for the legs. The finish is Polyurethane.
The Giraffe Bank is made from MDF and Baltic Birch plywood. The finish is Polyurethane and paint. The coins feed through the mouth.
