Slick This is actually a Timber Framing chisel, masquerading as a Slick. A true Slick has the socket bent just enough to raise the handle from the centerline.
It is made from a 2" framing chisel resqued from the rust heap. The handle is maple with a walnut knob doweled and glued before turning. It is finished with Hut Crystal Clear finish, a combination of shellac and wax.
