Bowls from Silky Oak and Lacewood. These are made from logs cut by Bill and friends. They are finished in Shellac.

Inside Santa's Workshop sawn by Dan Gallo. The silhouette is 1/8" Baltic Birch finished with Watco Danish Oil. The Frame is 3/4" Pine finished with Acrylic Paints. The topcoat is Deft Lacquer Spray. From a pattern by Dirk Boelman in Creative Woodworks & Crafts, holiday issue, 2004.

This collection from Bill Gourlay: Recipe Holders: Walnut w/Special Walnut Stain and Tung Oil. The curve allows the recipe to stand up.
The Whistles are also Walnut finished in Tung Oil.
The large turtle is made from Walnut and finished in 14 coats of Tung Oil.
The small turtles are made from Mahogany.
The stylized Bull, the Owl, and the G-Clef are made from Walnut
The Spoon is made from Teak.
